Jewel kilcher started her singing carrer when she was only a child.She would sing to her father for a long time.Jewel grew up in alaska in a small cabin. She didnt have T.V. or radio.Instead she sang. Later jewel moved out of the house and went down to hawiiai and sang. She didnt get much money and soon sang out in the streets to get extra money.One day a executive heard her singing and emediantly signed her up for a record deal. And now it brings us to now. The backstreet boys all started out on there own voyage for stardom and soon found it. Nick Carter(18),A.J. McLean(20),Brian litrell(23),Howie Dorough(25),And Kevin Richardson(27) Make up "The Backstreet Boys". Nick carter started off in his stardom as a child.His mom overheard him sing one day and put him in voice lessons and he sang away.Little Nick sang anywhere he could.And that is where he met up with Howie and A.J. in Florida. A.J. McLean first started singing at a young age also.He sang everywhere. He entered into a talent contest in orlando and sang.He won first place and $1,000(wich he spent right away!) But A.J. is also a puppateer and befor joining the "Backstreet Boys" Did his Puppet act at birthday parties! Brian Litrell started off in his world of music when he was little. He sang at his church whenever he could. One day Brian received a phone call(at school) and it was his cousin,who is in the band,Asking his cousin if he wanted to join also.Of course Brian said yes.And that was the start of his carrer. Kevin Richardson started out singing at Restaurants,Churches,parties, Wherever he could! But he met AJ and Howie at disney world. They thought that he was a great singer and he joined. Howie Dorough started his stardom when he jumped on his grandparents bed and sang them "babyface" at age three! But it wasnt intill his older sister polly got him into the play "wizard of oz" that he actually started to like singing and acting.That is how he met up with Aj at auditions,Contests,and other places.So they formed the band.
